Meet the Team
The founding member of SRS Group (originally Structural Rigging Solutions), Luke is now Managing Director alongside being our Sales and Rigging Specialist. His career began yacht racing on Australia’s East coast, before progressing into super yachting, where he climbed the ranks to Captain over a 15 year period. Running a tight ship honed Luke’s human resources and management skills, while overseeing multi-million dollar yacht refits saw him build on his practical engineering knowledge, eye for detail and high standards. He went on to utilise his yacht rigging skills as Rig Shop Manager at Doyle Rigging, before starting SRS in the Commercial, Residential and Civil space. A keen team player, Luke enjoys the challenge of finding solutions for client’s design projects and bringing superyacht standards to New Zealand’s construction space.
Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the marine and construction industries. After completing a boat building apprenticeship, he went on to construct a wide variety of craft, eventually establishing Zealandia Marine Group (ZMG) – managing construction and refit projects on super yachts. 2012 brought a transition in industries, with Mark becoming the Property and Project Manager at Takapuna Grammar School. He then went on to spend six years in the project management team at Prendos NZ Limited, a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy company, where he worked with commercial and residential property owners and developers to deliver solutions for their construction projects. From planning, procurement, design, contract management, construction, risk management and financial planning, Mark’s handled it all.
Green Infrastructure Manager
Stuart brings a unique skill-set to his role at SRS Group. Initially achieving qualifications in sciences and microbiology, he went on to work at Fytogreen in Australia: a specialist horticulture company that provides gardens on the built structure. During his 15 year tenure at Fytogreen, Stuart assisted in both developing products and growing the business as a BDM, playing an instrumental role in increasing annual turnover from $1m to $10m. One pivotal large-scale project he managed was the Victoria Desalination Plant’s green roof – a $5m project spanning over 2 years, which ultimately delivered the largest green roof in the Southern Hemisphere. Another highlight was the Platinum Apartments’ green façade which covers a impressive area of 1700m2.
