Luke Tempest
Director|
As Managing Director of SRS Group, Luke Tempest is the driving force behind the company’s strategic direction, innovation, and continued growth. With a strong foundation in architectural and marine rigging, stemming from a successful career on super yachts. Luke has been instrumental in positioning SRS as a leader in high-quality rigging, fabrication, and tensile architecture across civil, commercial, and residential sectors. Under Luke’s leadership, SRS has delivered some of New Zealand’s most complex and design-driven projects. His hands-on approach and commitment to operational excellence ensure that every project is executed with precision, safety, and a focus on long-term value. Luke fosters a collaborative culture within the business, empowering a high-performance team and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients and industry partners. Beyond his role at SRS, Luke serves on the NZSSDA Council for Architectural Stainless Steel, where he advocates for quality, safety, and innovation in tensile architecture—ensuring that industry standards are grounded in both science and practical application. Outside of work, Luke values a balanced lifestyle. He enjoys barbecuing, caravanning, and spending quality time with his family. |

Alice Tempest
Director of Finance and MarketingOriginally hailing from the UK, Alice left in 1999 to travel and work abroad, spending the next decade building a successful career in the superyacht industry. Her professional journey since then has been marked by a unique blend of precision, adaptability, and strategic thinking. In 2011, Alice completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Auckland and went on to work as a Registered Nurse.
As SRS Group’s Director of Finance and Marketing, Alice brings a logical mindset, attention to detail, and a solid head for figures. With a strong background in mathematics, she has applied her many skills across the business. Alice supports the Project Team in quantity surveying (QS) and project management (PM), allowing her to build strong relationships with clients and gain a deep understanding of the technical and financial aspects of each project.
Alice has continually expanded her business acumen through formal training in bookkeeping and accounting, including advanced financial education through the globally respected ‘Profit Mastery’ course by Steven LeFever.
Alice is a proud mother to two girls and supportive wife to Luke. SRS Group is not only a family led business but fosters a family environment.

Ben
Rigging ManagerAs Rigging Manager at SRS Group, Ben Grenfell brings deep expertise, precision, and a hands-on leadership style to every project. A Master Mariner and former superyacht captain, Ben’s career has taken him around the world, building both technical capability and a reputation for excellence.
Ben is globally IRATA-qualified in rope access and has an unparalleled understanding of rigging systems, particularly in the use and installation of X-Tend Mesh. His commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality makes him a trusted leader in complex and high-access environments.
Since joining SRS, Ben has been instrumental in developing the rigging division, mentoring his team, and pushing industry standards forward. Originally from Australia, he has called New Zealand home for nearly two decades and is passionate about applying world-class skills in a local context.
When he’s not managing projects, you’ll likely find Ben waterskiing, snow skiing, or pursuing his next fitness goal with the same focus and drive he brings to work every day. Ben is a dedicated father and values time spent with loved ones.

Sven
Fabrication ManagerSince joining SRS Group in 2022, Sven Lizamore has brought decades of expertise in metal fabrication and machining, with a wealth of experience spanning both the marine and construction industries. As Fabrication Manager, Sven leads by example, setting high standards for both craftsmanship and team development. His commitment to precision is reflected in his impeccable welding and finishes, ensuring that each project meets the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
Sven is dedicated to both personal and team growth, playing a key role in supporting his team’s qualifications to ASNZS 1554.6 standards in stainless steel (304, 316, and Duplex 2205, 2507 grades). His leadership fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the fabrication division.
Outside of work, Sven is an avid fisherman and skilled butcher. He enjoys making his own sausages and cooking up a mean Braai. When he’s not honing his craft in the workshop, Sven can often be found with his sons, renovating engines and boats, reflecting his hands-on approach and passion for both work and leisure.

Parizad
Senior Project ManagerWith over 15 years of experience in project delivery and leadership across the infrastructure and asset management sectors, Parizad is a Senior Project Manager at SRS Group. She holds a Bachelor of Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Architecture from UNITEC, combining technical and design expertise to successfully manage complex projects.
Parizad excels in project management, risk management, governance, and asset management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. She is also a strong advocate for women in STEM and a resilient, authentic leader who fosters collaboration and continuous improvement.
Her commitment to safety, quality, and business performance makes her an invaluable asset to the SRS Group team.

Sruthi
Junior Project Manager|
Sruthi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, India, then in 2020, Sruthi earned her Master’s degree in Construction Management from Auckland University of Technology (AUT). As Junior Project Manager at SRS Group, Sruthi George plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion. With a sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach to coordination and programming, Sruthi holds a pivotal role in project logistics and is the administrative heart of project procurement, supplier relationships, and client communications. Sruthi’s growing depth of technical knowledge supports the wider project team and she is developing her project management expertise through hands-on experience and ongoing training. Sruthi brings calm energy, discipline, and a can-do mindset to every challenge she takes on. Sruthi enjoys her family time and relaxing with gardening in her spare time. |

Roydon
QS and Technical AdvisorRoydon Gilmour brings over two decades of specialist experience in engineering and stainless steel systems to his role as Technical Advisor and Quantity Surveyor / Estimator at SRS Group. With a career spanning both civil engineering and architectural hardware, Roydon is highly regarded for his technical depth, problem-solving capability, and precision in project estimation.
He spent 15 years with a civil engineering firm designing, testing, and sourcing components, gaining hands-on expertise across a wide range of infrastructure and structural projects. For the next 5 years, Roydon served as Technical Manager at Anzor Fasteners, where he provided expert advice to clients on architectural systems including Meshnet, balustrades, and bespoke stainless solutions.
Roydon is a Certified ISSF Stainless Specialist and an active member of the New Zealand Stainless Steel Development Association (NZSSDA), where he also previously served as a board member. His knowledge of stainless steel performance, specification, and application is second to none, making him a valuable resource for clients and colleagues alike.
At SRS Group, Roydon combines his technical insight with detailed cost estimation, helping to ensure that every project is delivered with accuracy, durability, and design integrity.

Carl
Senior Mechanical CAD Designer|
Carl Koch is the Senior Mechanical CAD Designer at SRS Group, known for his precision, technical versatility, and commitment to design excellence. With expertise across a range of industry-leading platforms, including AutoCAD, Inventor, and other 3D modelling software, Carl plays a key role in turning complex concepts into detailed, buildable solutions ready for sign off. Born in the coastal town of Strand in Cape Town, South Africa, Carl began his career in fabrication and welding at his father-in-law’s engineering firm. That hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for his transition into CAD design, where his passion for accuracy, structure, and innovation truly took shape. A perfectionist at heart, Carl lives by the philosophy of quality over quantity—a principle that guides both his work and his life. His eye for detail and high standards make him an invaluable part of the SRS team, ensuring every design meets the mark before it reaches the workshop floor. Outside of work, Carl enjoys mountain biking, running, and challenging himself with the occasional triathlon. Most of all, he values time with his wife and three daughters, who remain his greatest source of motivation and balance. |

Kyle
Junior EstimatorOriginally from Cape Town, South Africa, Kyle brings a strong technical foundation to the team with a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining the company, he was involved in a novel research project at AUT’s Institute of Biomedical Technologies, contributing to innovative developments in the field. Now working as a Junior CAD Designer and Estimator, Kyle combines analytical precision with a practical mindset to support detailed project planning and design. Kyle’s dedication to his role sees him completing additional studies in Quantity Surveying supported by SRS.
Outside of work, you’ll find him under the hood of a car or creating music in his home studio.

Lucinda
Office ManagerOriginally from the picturesque fishing town of Strand in Cape Town, South Africa, Lucinda comes from an engineering background, having grown up in a family business led by her father. This early exposure to structured operations and entrepreneurial spirit helped shape her strong foundation in administration and organisational efficiency. Lucinda brings a passion for creating structure, streamlining processes, and supporting team success through effective systems and communication. She believes in the importance of balance, positivity, and inclusion, values that inform both her work ethic and her interactions.
Outside of work, Lucinda cherishes time with her husband and daughters. Family remains the heart of her life, and she approaches each day with warmth, optimism, and a firm belief that “love always wins.”

Minisha
Finance Manager|
Minisha leads the financial operations at SRS Group with precision, integrity, and strategic insight. Holding a Bachelor of Business and being a qualified Chartered Accountant, Minisha brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, compliance, and business planning. Her analytical approach and attention to detail ensure that SRS maintains strong financial health while supporting sustainable growth across all divisions. With a deep understanding of the construction industry’s financial landscape, Minisha plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management, ensuring every project is delivered with commercial confidence. Her leadership supports SRS’s commitment to excellence, transparency, and long-term value. |

Tony
Workshop AssistantTony Bennet plays a vital support role in the SRS Group workshop, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are well-maintained and ready to meet the demands of each project. With a strong work ethic, a practical mindset, and attention to detail, Tony helps keep workshop operations running smoothly and efficiently.
He takes pride in being hands-on, reliable, and always ready to assist the wider team wherever needed. Tony’s commitment to safety and quality aligns with SRS’s high standards. Tony is a skilled fabricator and supports our apprentices in their learning.

Dean
Board Member|
Dean Harper leads SRS Group’s performance strategy with precision, energy, and a focus on delivering measurable results. In his role as a board member, he applies commercial insight and operational rigour to ensure the business grows sustainably and consistently exceeds its goals. Dean’s earlier career includes pivotal roles at Southern Spars and Allco Waterproofing, where he honed his ability to optimise operations, streamline processes, and lead diverse teams. Whether it was improving service offerings in the marine sector or enhancing operational effectiveness in other services, Dean proved adept at transforming strategy into tangible outcomes. Known for his analytical mindset and a data-driven approach, he combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, balancing long-term business goals with day-to-day performance improvement. His leadership style emphasises collaboration, continuous learning, and empowering teams to own their performance. At SRS, Dean works closely with the leadership team to align KPIs, improve productivity, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence, ensuring that operational improvements translate into profitability and client satisfaction. |
