As part of Stage 2 of the Everil Orr Building at Everil Orr Retirement Village, SRS Group was subcontracted by Contrax Greenscapes to deliver high-quality architectural metalwork that combines safety, durability, and design excellence.

Our scope included:

• Fabrication and installation of five 316-grade stainless steel handrails with a bright finish, designed for longevity and corrosion resistance:
• Three main sections measuring 24.5m, 6.6m, and 5.5m.
• Two additional handrails measuring 9.7m and 13.0m.
• Supply of three powder-coated mild steel frames (approximately 2m high and nearly 4m wide) fitted with Carl Stahl X-TEND® stainless steel mesh panels, creating elegant green screens that enhance privacy and aesthetics.

In addition, SRS Group was contracted directly by head contractor Watts & Hughes to manufacture and install three custom 6mm Corten steel signs with stainless steel lettering, adding a distinctive architectural feature to the site.

Completed in 2023, this project demonstrates SRS Group’s capability to deliver precision metalwork across a range of materials, incorporating complex curves and laser-cut elements for architectural environments. Our work ensures compliance with safety standards while achieving a refined, contemporary finish.
