A new world class facility and home for Harbour Hockey and the Vantage Black Sticks will be built at Rosedale Park as part of the Northern Corridor Improvements project.

The new venue will provide expanded and enhanced community facilities to support the growth of community users; and to promote and support participation in the sport of hockey throughout New Zealand. The four hockey turfs will be built to high standards with two being FIH Global Elite and the other two being to FIH National level. There will be covered seating in place for just over 450 spectators. Additional temporary seating will be added for larger events if needed.

SRS Group was proud to be a part of this exciting, community based project. SRS Group specialises in tensile mesh netting from 316 marine grade stainless steel which provides a long lasting, low maintenance, non-corrosive solution. Mesh net can be created in large panels which make it a smart and economical option from both a cost and installation perspective. Our expertise in tensile mesh netting and safety barriers made SRS the perfect choice for this project. Our role was to install tensile mesh netting around the courts to ensure safety to supporters, parents and ongoing traffic who are watching the games take place. Tensile mesh was the perfect choice for this project as this product has a high rating of durability and quality.
